Pension Picasso - Seville

It is so close to main tourist attractions. Only one minute!!!

Unfortunately, my room doesn't have a widow. It is so hot in Seville... And my room face the entrance, where I can hear the words of staff clearly and cannot fall asleep for two nights...

The ultimate location, right next to the old Alcazar and in a bustling part of town. Breakfast nothing special but at least it's provided. Beds comfortable, staff friendly and the WIFI works fine.

The centrally controlled aircon was my main issue. One of the reasons I (and many other pasty ugly Brits) visit Spain is for its weather, specifically its beautiful sunshine. The temperature was a gorgeous 36 degrees outside, the sort of temperatures you want to cherish and make the most of. Well I did spend most of the time outside, but over six days, there are times you need to be in your room, even if it's only just to sleep. Well my room was freezing, about four or five degrees, like a chiller cabinet. I had a thick woolly blanket and the windows open but still spent my nights shivering and disgruntled at the box in corner spewing out cold air. Despite sleeping with my clothes on, I still got a cold and was blowing my red nose the whole week.

The location of the hostel is perfect. Just next to the Cathedral, Alcázar and the historic center with dozens of tapas-bars within walking distance. The busstop for the airportbus is just a five minutes walk away and, a 24/7 taxistand just 2 minutes. Free internet.

Poor breakfast (but, what do you expect for that price!?). Since they only provide a sheet and a thin blanket, you'll experience cold at night (february). Bring warm pyjamas! It is also very noisy. During the whole night you hear people talk from the kitchen/common room/reception. These are not enclosed spaces. They have direct connection to the superjacent bedrooms because of their location around an open gallery. Though a backpackers is not for restseekers, still one would expect some more respect towards the other guests. It suprised me that the night staff apparently had not a nuisance and, didn't do a thing about it. Suggestion for the owner: put doors in the kitchen and common room. Suggestion for the guests: take a stronger nightcap!

The hostal is positioned in the very center of the city. It's quiet and cheap

Very close to the historical center of Sevilla, small rooms (only 4 people), giving on a calm street. Perfect to stay in the city with a small budget.

Excellent location. Very close to cathedral and major sights. Cafe, supermarket and restaurants are easy access. Pc for free Internet access. A shared kitchen to prepare something easy. Breakfast is ok. Nice place to meet young travellers to exchange travel information.

The share bathroom is not very clean. My room is facing the road and can hear tourist horse ride on and on. The 2nd day I stayed was a religious holiday and the cathedal bell ring non-stop from 6am.

Great location steps from the cathedral, good size room, small bathroom, good WiFi connection everywhere

Got some problems with bad roommates but the staff was very nice and move me to another room

Most staffs there are willing to help and friendly. And the location is good for visiting the Catedral, the Barrio de Santa Cruz,..

Very good location. quite near to Catedral and other monuments in the city.

The sheet was not clean, many strange spots on it! The air condition didn't work very well. The breakfast was very poor.....and the staff was not friendly and helpful (although two black receptionest were nice, their English was not well) . When I entered my first room, I just found the ceiling has fallen down to the beds and floor, everything was in mess! I asked the front desk girl to change a room, she said all the rooms were same, no other room....Although I got another room finally, I was unhappy for such a surprise beginning.

Not really up to its price.No proper bedding,no proper breakfast.The cleaning lady took my own towel away and nobody even bothered to sort the problem out,so I was forced to pay.
